NH TD Club meeting April 2009

New Hope Touchdown Club meets Monday April 20th.

At 6:30pm in the NHHS cafeteria, there will be a free seminar on the many facets of the recruiting of high school athletes by colleges.  For more see www.NewHopeTrojans.com

The NH TD Club meeting will follow the seminar.

Nov 8th Mighty Mite Playoffs DVD’s

DVD’s of the November 8th peewee playoff games at New Hope are now available for purchase at “An Open Door Floral & Gifts” located at the corner of New Hope Road and Center Road across the street from the New Hope Middle School.  Each game DVD is 10 dollars at the store.

The additional funds are to cover packaging and postage costs.  Expect approximately two weeks turn around time on your order.

11am age 7-8 yr olds Caledonia – NH
12pm age 7-8 yr olds Hamilton – Smithville
1pm 9-10 yr olds NH – Hamilton
2pm 9-10 yr olds Caledonia – Smithville
3pm 11-12 yr olds Hamilton – Caledonia
4pm 11-12 yr olds NH – Smithville

Oct 6th Meeting

The TD Club has procured charter buses to transport the team to the Oct 10 game at West Lauderdale.  The team will eat at EMCC in Scooba, the proceed on to Collinsville.  Find your directions to West Lauderdale here.

Thursday Oct 9th we host the 7th, 8th, and 9th grade from Noxubee at Trojan field.  Games start at 4pm.

The Oct 16 game at Columbus may be changed to earlier in the week.

A very important date for everyone to remember is November 8th.  The TD Club and Trojan Field are hosting the Mighty Mite peewee football playoffs.  Games will start at 8am and continue until 5 or 6pm that evening.  We will operate the concession stands and it should be a banner fundraising day.  We may have had a 4A playoff game the night before, November 7th, at Clarksdale, Cleveland, or Lafayette County.  Bottom line, we will needs lots of volunteers especially for the early hours.  So mark November 8th on your calendars and plan on supporting our New Hope Trojans through all that the Touchdown Club does by volunteering to help.  By the way, we do plan to have a cash drawing at the end of the day for all the workers.

Sept 29th TD Club Meeting Cancelled

The September 29th TD Club meeting has been cancelled due to none of the officers being available on Monday night.

The next meeting is scheduled for Monday October 6th at 7:30pm.
